Southern Pines Area New Home Communities

Situated in a region known as the "Home of American Golf", the town of Southern Pines is so much more. Twenty-three of the regions golf courses were rated 4-stars or better by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play" and out of nearly 600 courses in the state the Southern Pines area represented 17 spots in the list of Top 100 Golf Courses.

Having Fun in Southern Pines

As home to award-winning golf, we highly recommend getting out onto one of the area's many lush courses. Not an avid golfer? Southern Pines has a strong equestrian community, athletic complexes for all ages, and more than a half dozen parks. Home to the Sunrise Theater, a thriving performing arts center that offers local and national theater, dance and musical performances for all ages.  Weymouth Woods is an 898-acre nature preserve that is home to a longleaf pine forest. Guests are invited to learn how human actions have affected the environment, rare and endangered species and more.

Southern Pines has a rich historical background and has many points of interest including the  Shaw House and Weymouth House. It's also home to a fantastic Train Station that was constructed in 1898 and continues to serve passengers today via Amtrak.
